Baby it’s cold outside! This is the perfect soup to warm the cold, dark days of winter. It’s full of veggie goodness and a breeze to cook- great for those nights when you’d rather snuggle under a fuzzy blanket and binge on Netflix than make dinner.

Our family loves this quick and easy stroganoff! We are definitely going to be packing this down in a vacuum sealer to take on our camping trips next year.
1/4 cup Thrive Sour Cream powder
1/3 cup Thrive Espagnole (Savory Beef Gravy)
1/4 cup Thrive chopped onions (FD)
1 cup Thrive Large Beef Dices (FD)
1 1/4 TBSP Thrive Salad Seasoning Blend
1 tsp of Thrive Chef’s Choice Seasoning Blend
1 tsp Garlic powder
2 cups egg noodle pasta
To assemble the jar meal:
Layer ingredients into a quart size jar, seal tightly and store in a dark, dry place (like a pantry). I usually cook my mixes within a few weeks of assembling them but if you would like to store them for more than a few months you can store them in a vacuum sealed container or add an oxygen absorber.
Bring 4 1/2 cups of water to a boil. Pour contents of jar into the water and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 12-15 minutes (or when noodles are done). Cover and set for 8-10 minutes.
This is rapidly becoming one of our favorite jar meals! It is versatile and be customized for your family. These measurements are for making a quart size jar which is more than enough to feed my family of 5 (including my ravenous teens). If you would like to make a smaller portion you can half the recipe and put it in a pint size jar.

Tonight was one of those nights. The kids were enjoying the beautiful weather outside with friends, my husband was stuck at work, and I was focused on prepping for the upcoming school year. Before I knew it, the kids were done playing outside and were looking for dinner. I ran to my collection of THRIVE veggies to see what I could throw together super fast and came up with this recipe (on the fly! I’m so happy it worked out).
Time: the time from “Seriously? It’s 7pm already?” to “Dinner’s Ready!!” was about 15 minutes
Ingredients (for the pizza shown in the pic)
*Ingredient measurements non specific. Measure ingredients “to taste”
THRIVE green bell peppers
THRIVE sliced onions
THRIVE ground beef
other topping possibilities:
THRIVE sausage crumbles
Preheat oven to 400º
Add THRIVE ingredients to a bowl and add enough water to cover. Allow to rehydrate for about 5 minutes.
Heat tortillas one at a time in a hot, oiled frying pan (only takes a few seconds per side to get them crispy).
Place one tortilla on a baking sheet that is lined with tin foil.
Add pizza sauce & cheese
Place second tortilla on top of the first and add sauce/cheese.
Drain excess water out of the THRIVE ingredients bowl and add ingredients to the top tortilla.
Bake tortilla pizza for about 8 minutes (or until the cheese is bubbly & golden)
Allow to cool for a few minutes before you slice it up.
